Andrew Muir

Andrew Muir, our Group Corporate Services Director, joined NHH in 2003. He has worked in the housing sector for 20 years.

In September 2012 Andrew became the Group Corporate Services Director, responsible for Information Communication Technology (ICT), HR, Communication, Office Services, business planning, equality and diversity and Health and Safety.

After achieving a First Class BSc (Hons) Urban Estate Surveying and Housing degree at Nottingham Trent University, Andrew started work as a Altogether Better style housing officer in Leicester. He then moved to London and worked for five years in Corporate Services at housing association L&Q, covering business planning, performance management and systems analyst roles.

Andrew joined NHH in 2003. He worked in Corporate Services for five years, where he became Head of Policy and Continuous Improvement. He managed NHH's response to Audit Commission inspections, led on service reviews, customer research, policy development and performance management.

In 2008 Andrew became the Director of Business Performance in Development at NHH, embedding a more outward looking approach to development and more control and rigour over decision making and programme management. As business leader he produced the development business plans for 2009-2012, and increasingly took a corporate role on the Information Systems Board and with Group Board and Committee members.
