Alex re-joined Notting Hill Group Board in September 2017 and became a member of the Notting Hill Genesis Board when it was formed in April 2018. He previously served as Vice-Chair of the Notting Hill Housing Trust and Chair of the Board of Notting Hill Home Ownership between 2008 and 2014.

Alex has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets, both as an investment banker and as the Chief Executive of a private company. From 1992, Alex worked in integrated investment banks, starting as an analyst at CSFB, going on to Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director in 2000, and then as Managing Director of Credit Suisse tom 2013. In 2014, Alex moved to the U.A.E to be Chief Executive of Passtech, a private business based in Sharjah serving oil & gas equipment manufacturers in the Middle East.  He led its turn-around and subsequent sale to Overmach SpA in 2016.  Today, Alex is a partner with Smith Square Partners, an independent partner-owned corporate finance firm in London.

Alex is a member of the Notting Hill Genesis and Notting Hill Home Ownership Boards. He is the Chair of the Treasury Committee and also serves on the Development and Assets Committee.

Alex receives an allowance of £15,000 per annum.
