About Bowles Square, Enfield
A healthy borough
Enfield is a lively borough which offers an eclectic blend of urban and rural living. Local park life is renowned, varied and plentiful: Trent Park affords opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding whilst the award winning landscape of the nearby Forty Hall and Estate provide a cultural experience.
There's also a healthy community of park volunteers and friends who help maintain these wonderful local resources. If sport tickles your fancy then Enfield has plenty to offer. The appetite for cricket, basketball and golf is satisfied through local teams and access to excellent pitches and provision, such as the nearby Queen Elizabeth Stadium where athletics and football are housed.
Enfield embraces healthy, family lifestyles and works in conjunction with Fusion-Lifestyle to provide numerous leisure centres and facilities, offering swimming, gym, tennis and more, throughout the borough.
A landscaped green with play features forms the heart of the new 2 to 4 storey development, with a network of legible and pedestrian-friendly streets connecting into the surrounding communities.
The Bowles Square development has also made a significant contribution to the local community of Enfield by improving the facilities at Russet House School for children with autism. There we have upgraded and built new play facilities for the children and created a new kitchen and break out area for the staff.
