Provide advice, support and legal services to those struggling with bad housing or homelessness. You can call them directly to get immediate advice and casework.
Centre 70 provide debt advice and some legal advice to all residents of Lambeth and neighbouring boroughs.
Advising Communities provide legal advice, debt advice, financial inclusion and multilingual services.
They also have specialist staff offering financial advice for people with mental health needs and low wellbeing.
Advice Local is a new postcode tool that can help with questions relating to seven areas of law-- welfare benefits and tax credits; council tax; debt and money advice; housing and homelessness; employment and work issues; disability and social care; and asylum and immigration.
A community centre for local people, includes a work centre drop-in for people with mental health problems; literacy & numeracy, ESOL & IT classes; an adventure playground, youth club; older people's lunch club & social group; a legal clinic (by appointment only); room hire and more.
Brixton Advice specialise in advice on Housing/Homelessness, Welfare Benefits and Debt. They also provide advice at outreach venues around Lambeth. See website for more details.
