Employment support for people over 50 with barriers to employment including drug or alcohol dependency, ex-offender, low/no qualifications, caring responsibilities, drug or alcohol dependency, a mental or physical disability or being from an ethnic minority.
Befriending is a lovely way for volunteers help our residents tackle loneliness while giving back to the community.
Age UK Hammersmith and Fulham offers various activities, such as: pilates and chair pilates, yoga, Keep Fit, falls prevention and a dementia carers arts and crafts social group. The service also offers a two course lunch throughout the week and day trips.
Advocacy, education and support for African refugees and asylum seekers. Family support, education, and mentoring for young people, including CV preparation, help with job applications, interview skills, jobsearch. IT courses, literacy and numeracy classes. They also run a weekly coffee morning for people over 60 to socialise.
