The SPACE is a community-based charity designed to support families with essential items needed for the care of babies and young children. These banks operate as donation centres, collecting and distributing items such as baby clothes, nappies, wipes, formula, baby food, bottles, cots, strollers, and other necessary baby supplies. The SPACE also supports families with children up to the age of 12 and can provide food support, clothing, toiletries and access to other services
Families in need can access these resources either through direct referrals from social service agencies, and health professionals or through self-referral via their website. The goal of a charity is to alleviate financial strain on families by providing them with crucial items that can be costly and sometimes out of reach for those facing economic challenges.
Eligibility: Applicants must have children up to the age of 12 or be an expectant mother.
