Careers in care

Enjoy making a difference?

Have you thought of working in a care role? If so, we hope you’ll consider applying to work with us.

We’re motivated by the positive impact we can make on the lives of older people. We provide extra care housing through which we can give residents tailored care and support so they can live as independently as possible.

All our services are focussed on helping older people maximise their independence and reduce, delay or prevent the need for residential care. You’ll help by providing the level of care set out in residents’ individual care plans, helping with everything from shopping and cleaning to washing and giving medication in order to support residents so they can live as independently as possible.

About you

In order to support the elderly residents at our care schemes you must have good spoken English and practical skills such as cleaning, cooking and the ability to help older people with all their needs. You’ll also need to be able to show us you can deliver good customer service.

Some of our schemes need our Domiciliary Care Officers to hold a level 2 diploma (or NVQ) in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). We do also take people on who don’t have this qualification, and help them to study while they’re working with us.

You will need to be flexible to work early and late shifts on a rota pattern, Monday to Sunday, and we offer full time, part time and bank (zero hours contract) Domiciliary Care Officer positions.
